This August, we’re weaving something even more meaningful into our creations. We’re proud to spotlight Ayu, one of our original artisans and the talented woman behind the crochet details you know and love. She’s been with us since day one, handcrafting some of the earliest styles that defined the spirit of AANOUKIS.
Ayu lives in a quiet, remote area of Singaraja with her husband and daughter. In the stillness of her home, surrounded by Bali’s lush greenery, she works not only with her hands but with her heart to ensure a better future for her daughter.
We see that, and we want to help.
We believe fashion should hold meaning, not just in how it looks, but in what it gives back. As her creations continue to travel from her hands to yours, we wanted to give something back to her. Starting this month, we’re launching our GIVE BACK initiative in her honor.
1% of every crochet piece sold — pieces made by Ayu herself — will go toward funding her family. This contribution will help her daughter cover schoolbooks, supplies, and other learning essentials she needs to pursue her dreams.
We're also excited to share that more styles featuring Ayu’s signature crochet work are on the way, each piece represents her craft, and now, her hope for her family’s future.
